Hanon Systems has been manufacturing thermal and energy management solutions for some of the world’s largest automakers. Hanon wanted to move their transformation very fast by engaging with SAP Leonardo. Previously Plant Managers have had limited visibility of the key performance indicator (KPI), ‘real-time’ manufacturing data, error notifications, and scheduling for maintenance.
After experiencing our design-led innovation approaches, Hanon's executives changed their outlook. The Discover and UX Design & Prototype phases mitigated initial internal opposition & skepticism about SAP solutions. The customer decided to move forward with SAP, and one of key success factors was User-centered approach. (In collaboration with Joanne Bae - PM, Beatrice Oh - Design Lead, and Earl Kim - Designer)
